NORAH WINIFRED FRANCIS (Charles 2, William 3, Joseph 4 )

Born in 1895 in Combe Down, Somerset and died in South Stoke. Daughter of Charles Francis and Hannah Stickland.

Married Albert Edward Elsworth 18 Dec 1915 in Holy Trinity Church, Combe Down.

Children: Lily Violet Elsworth 1916-2005 and Rashleigh Elsworth 1919-2002.

CHARLES FRANCIS (William 3, Joseph 4 )

Born 1852 in Bradford, Wiltshire, England. Son of William Francis and Sarah ? He was a free stone quarryman. He married Hannah

Stickland 24 Nov 1880 in Walcot Chapel, Bath. She was the daughter of James Stickland and born 1858 in H Littleton, Somerset.

According to the 1901 census Gilbert was a stine sawyer, Eva a general domestic servant, Lily a housemaid, and Louis a farm laborer.

Baptized 27 Oct 1811 in Hinton Charterhouse, Somerset. Son of Joseph Francis and Rachel Rose.

Married Sarah ? about 1839 She was born 1819 in Hinton Charterhouse and died about 1860.

Born about 1777. He married Rachel Rose 25 Feb 1797 in Hinton Charterhouse parish.
